Research and Application of Novel Pneumatic Chain Conveyor for Powder Conveying
Chain conveyors, pneumatic conveying chutes and belt conveyors are three major traditional core equipment in the field of powder conveying and have been widely used in powder conveying working conditions of cement and other industries. However, with the upgrading of modern production demands for large-scale, long-distance and high environmental protection standards, the inherent defects of the three types of equipment have become increasingly prominent. The traditional FU chain conveyor suffers from sharply increased energy consumption and equipment wear when the conveying distance exceeds 40 meters and the conveying capacity rises, failing to meet the requirements of large-scale production. Pneumatic conveying chutes have strict restrictions on installation height difference, material moisture content and particle size, leading to limited working condition adaptability. Although belt conveyors can meet the demands of high-throughput and long-distance conveying, they are plagued by difficult sealing, material spillage, dust pollution and high labor maintenance costs, which long restrict the quality and efficiency improvement of powder conveying operations. Aiming at the technical bottlenecks of existing industrial equipment, this paper innovatively develops a new pneumatic chain conveyor by organically integrating the mechanical conveying structure of chain conveyors and the gasification conveying system of pneumatic chutes based on the composite pneumatic-mechanical conveying principle. Integrating the advantages of traditional equipment, the novel conveyor overcomes many shortcomings of conventional devices such as high energy consumption, severe wear, limited working conditions and poor environmental performance, and realizes long-distance, high-capacity, low-consumption and clean conveying of powder materials. The equipment has obtained a national patent (ZL 2013 2011 68890) and achieved excellent application results in long-distance powder conveying scenarios, providing an innovative technical solution for equipment upgrading and green and efficient production in the powder conveying industry.
